Mercury Lounge has involved itself with World graffiti art movement 'Tag The System', showcasing Canadian urban art in connection with the originators and other artists the world over.

Tag The System, originating out of New York in late 2004, features urban graffiti artist scaled impressions on 20-inch plastic trains. The show has since expanded into something of a movement beyond New York to London UK, San Francisco, Paris, Tokyo and more. Pictures from the original show can be viewed here with such artists as Uglydolls, Pete Fowler, Hot Wheels Grafx Team, Peter Goldman, Seen, James Jarvis, Jason Sui, and Lady Pink.

The exhibit at Mercury Lounge features internationally rising artists from Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa including works from Dixon, Berzerker, Labona, Rucifer, Stefan Thompson, Evoke and more with new pieces being added every week. The exhibit is the only Tag The System installation in Canada. Its current success will continue the installation in Ottawa for several more months.
